Responsibilities:
- Conduct technical analysis, design solutions, schedule estimates, develop solutions, test new and existing code, deploy and maintain code base to meet changing business objectives
- Develop applications (Web and Client) in a variety technologies but focusing on PHP, JavaScript
- Document existing system and provide technical support
- Take part in the entire software life cycle: planning, development, testing, and release
- Development of new products
- Addition of features to existing products
- Assist in the testing and debugging of software
- Optimize existing code and database queries
- Debugging problems found in existing code
- Assist in the project planning, code and database design
Requirements:
- PHP5, Object-Oriented PHP
- Experience with one or more of the PHP frameworks (Yii, Cake, etc)
- API integrations for Facebook, Twitter, Sina Weibo and other social networks.
- MySQL Queries, Table Design, Optimization Techniques
- Knowledge with MVC Architecture
- HTML and CSS
- Javascript, jQuery, AJAX, JSON
- Handling cross-browser compatibility
- Comfortable in a Linux environment
- Subversion/Git or other versioning software
- Photoshop, manipulating graphics for the web
- You code in an organized and efficient manner
- Ability to multi-task and juggle several tasks at once
- Attention to detail
Desired Experience
- Computer Science or related degree
- Setup and configuration of Apache
- Experience with setup and configuration of Amazon Web Services’ products and services
- Development of iOS or Android applications
- SSL certificates
- Security, code vulnerability
